I swiped the title of this post from a longer quote:

The ship is always off course. Anybody who sails knows that. Sailing is being off course and correcting. That gives a sense of what life is about. Michael Meade

It gives a bit of the flavor of what I think is a useful approach to life. I like it (a.) enough that I’m keeping it even though a moment’s Googling suggests that the author is a significant figure in the Mythopoetic men’s movement, whatever that may in fact be, but (b.) not enough to delve into the details of … the Mythopoetic men’s movement.
