So this is what pareidolia feels like. Huh. Neato.

Clicking through some of the photos I took of some of the micro-terrains of a sunflower, I found one that featured something that very closely resembled a creepy staring eye:

Instead of being disappointed that there wasn’t a tiny human face beneath the mass of immature sunflower florets looking upwards toward the lens of my toy microscope, I got a kick out of experiencing the phenomenon of Pareidolia for, to the best of my memory, the first time.
